Remember: disable the Windows Firewall on a Domain Controller (at least when you have more than one DC and they need to replicate).
You’d think Microsoft would have made it so that if you configure a server as a DC that the
fully integrated Windows Firewall would be automatically configured to open up the correct ports. Seems like a no-brainer, right??? Geeze.
I just recently came across Zimbra in the process of searching for BlackBerry integrated messaging
that doesn’t require purchasing the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Zimbra appears promising.
Nevermind… I need to look into this more, it appears to just offer integration with BES.
I need to get involved with this group. I’m already on the mailing list and have found some very helpful info from that alone. They meet monthly I believe and seem like a very cool group.
A web development company specializing in Drupal, PHP and Open Source software. They have some very cool uses of Drupal featured including using it for e-commerce. They also have a Tutorials section that may be useful as they add more (only 1 tutorial at the time of posting).
This seems like a potentially indispensable Drupal module.
I can’t really say much about this magazine yet other than it’s free. I haven’t received my first issue yet.
Their blog seems helpful though:
One of the best Lost blog’s I’ve come across yet. Interesting theories and easy access to recent video and press releases.
